Waukesha County Technical College

The price for classes is good, probably the best part of the school, but the classes are hard to get into -- they don't open a new one when there are a lot of people on the waiting list. The classes and teacher were good, it was worth my time for the few classes that had enough open spots. However, I did feel threatened by one student who unfortunately has turned up in my classes before, and seems to be under the delusion that he's stalking/harassing me on behalf of the rock star Sting. Because that problem student is a senior citizen, he gets into classes for free somehow, and seems to know which classes I've enrolled in (or else he takes a lot of them). I was disappointed that the instructor didn't tell me about the disturbing conversations that I witnessed personally, and didn't reach out to me about the problem. As far as I know the man's delusions and his potential danger to female students went unreported by the staff. My advice to women is to get into a better college if you can, but if you can't, take every precaution against sexual predators/stalkers because they ARE a part of the student body, and the college isn't very aggressive about protecting students from them. Also the waiting lists are pretty bad, there's a chance you won't get the classes you need to graduate, or it'll take a few extra years to get all of the classes for your degree.
