I used StudentsReview to help determine my choice of college…and because of this site, I nearly decided not to attend Elon.

I'm telling you right now: Elon was the best choice I have ever made. People regularly go out of the way for you (whether or not they know you). My professors will just invite me out to lunch to get to know me. I am never bored, as there are always an infinite number of activities and cultural events here. This place is simply incredible.

As a freshman this year, I have 1) attended the Iowa State Caucuses with my class and worked/reported on presidential campaigns; 2) worked with a $20,000 budget to bring speakers (like Piper Kerman from Orange is the New Black) to the school and introduce them; 3) designed an internship program between Elon and a nationally-acclaimed and televised land preserve (where I currently serve as Intern Supervisor); and an infinite more opportunities.

This being said, my old friends from high school are insanely jealous…and me? I turned down the opportunities to study at UChicago, Boston College, University of Richmond, UCONN, and others…and I am so glad that I have.
