Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
Academically, Colby is top-of-the-line: most of the professors are willing to help students, and they try to make students actually learn the material, not just force-feed it. Colby goes south, however, when it comes to social activities. If you are not a drinker, then your options are few. Coming from California, I felt a little cultural shock when I first arrived here. Most students are upper/ upper-middle class New Englanders, so that lifestyle dominates how the school social scene operates.
If I had another chance, I would have probably selected another school simply because Colby's residential/social aspects are lacking. Otherwise, it is a pretty good school.
