I would have preferred to go to a larger university. the education would have been the same, and the social life would have been MUCH better. Alma claims that going to a private college will help you get a job and that 96% of all graduates have a job within 6 months; however, they don't say where they get a job. I know alma graduates who work at gas stations, and some in hardware stores. All in all, I feel that I was lied to in order for the school to get numbers, then ripped off (they try to squeeze money from you any way they can), then left to uncaring unfriendly staff (not faculty) who did nothing to help advance me in any way. This school is good for getting educated, but that's about it; I am leaving with a degree in a few days, but no job, no help finding a job, and I'm not the only one—I know of no graduating senior who has a job offer, and the school does little to nothing to assist in the job search. Alma is too concerned with looking good to the public—they do anything they can to increase 'diversity'—i.e. hiring a female president, not because she was the right person for the job, but because they think it looks good. I personally like the fact that upon enrollment you get one story, but as soon as you're stuck here, they change the rules (e.g. Housing—hope you don't plan to live off campus, they may tell you that any senior can live off campus—yep, just the seniors—but they neglect to tell you that any senior that draws an offcampus ticket in the lottery can (and that's only about 50 people). And should you live off campus you get a 25% scholarship decrease b/c they aren't making money off of your meal plan.

In conclusion, I would have to say taht I'm very dissatisfied with Alma College and if I were a high school senior again I would most definately not attend this P.O.S. school.
