| F OUNDED in 1903, WMU is a dynamic, student-centered research university that
stands out among America's 4,000 colleges and universities. U.S. News
& World Report groups WMU among the nation's top-100 public
institutions. The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching designates WMU and just 101 other public institutions as Doctoral/Research Universities-Extensive,
placing WMU in the highest category of its classifcation system

100 Most Wired Colleges. In terms of enrollment, WMU ranks
