Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
Babson is career-oriented to say the least. Most students do not come here to find themselves; they have a basic plan of where they want to be in the business world. There is a lot of work, and the social life isn't nearly enough to provide an escape from it. However, it's not the partying that draws students here. It's the reputation the school has for producing business leaders. Most are willing to work hard for 4 years in order to reap the benefits upon graduation. The faculty are tremendous and encourage out of class interaction. From day one you are no longer viewed as merely a student, but rather a professional. That being said, they expect the best.In my college search I found no school that came close to Babson's ability to provide financial assistance. Anyone can tell you that a private college in MA is going to cost an arm and a leg. However, Babson is more than generous in it's dispersal of scholarships and grants. Lasly, the school is 15 miles or so west of Boston. There is no better city to escape to for a night out. It's the ultimate college town.
