As I have been away from Baylor for 4 years, I have seen both the benefit of attending Baylor, and a few drawbacks. I do not regret my decision at all and would do it again, but I would take more advantage of the situation. It is a great academic school which stressed the importance of liberal arts outside of my business major. I am very thankful for that. Socially, this is where I wished I had taken more advantage of it. As I am out, I see how much of a blessing it was to be in an environment that allowed me to express myself as a Christian. The majority of the United States is very hostile towards any type of Christian expression, and I am insulted and persecuted daily for any type of expression I have. Baylor provides an environment for people to experience a type of freedom of expression that the world no longer honors.
