The school is a very close minded one, if you are of another race (ie not white), gay, bi, transgendered, ect. You might want to look elsewhere. The school sent me a letter asking me not to come back once they found out i was gay.

Close-minded, right-wing, and white. Very white. That's BJU in a nutshell.

They had a ban at BJU on interracial dating past the year 2000, only dropping it when all but forced to. I have not been there but I would very much doubt that bisexual, homosexual, transgender or anyone not of that VERY specific flavor of Christian would ever feel that comfortable at BJU.

That last sentence says it all. That's just awful. I am truly sorry. They had no right. But you better believe they THINK they do and to that bunch, that is all that matters. In my opinion you will be better off without BJU in your life and I hope you are doing well, free of their influence, 15 years after writing this review.
