It is essential to visit a school while it is IN SESSION!! You don't get the same impression on a visit during the summer. Make sure you sit in on a class that interests you and try to speak with the professor. Their willingness to talk to you as a prospective is indicative of how they'll treat you as a student. My favorite thing about Drew is how accessible the faculty are—there are so many opportunities to get to know them as mentors. It's easy to think of profs to write recommendation letters. They're here because they want to teach.
