I think BJU is an excellent college to go to if you are looking for a good, quality, Christian education. The rules are really not that hard to follow, especially if you are a Christian. The sermons everyday in chapel are extremely good. My favorite chapels were the ones that were like family time with Dr. Bob.

I would want nothing to do with the type of Christianity they practice there, I will tell you quite honestly.

This place had a ban on interracial dating until 2004 or 2008 and threatened a homosexual graduate with arrest in 1999 if he ever came back to campus. Their website, student handbook, and overall rep suggest a near-cultist place that takes a very My Way or the Highway attitude. I have no idea what you're supposed to do if you come to BJU and are Mormon, Jewish, Muslim, or indeed anything but their specific type of fundamentalist Christian.

Never trust an institution of learning that includes Bob in the name.
