Major: Cultures/Civilization (This Major's Salary over time)
Because of its history in Christian fundamentalism and its location in the Bible belt of the South, the university is hesitant to change. (It took long enough to remove its ban on interracial dating!) It continues to maintain a seemingly inaccurate view on accreditation, lumping the specialized Christian accreditors (TRACS, AABC) along with the regional accrediting agencies as detrimental to the institution's mission. If you anticipate graduate studies at a secular university then you might have difficulty getting in because BJU is not accredited.
