I spent two years at Drew and thought the education was outstanding, but because the university's financial aid is terrible and the administration seems to be unaware, many of the students are J. Crew types who can afford BMW's; diversity of outlook, socio-economic groups and philosophies are nonexistent. Students who are in the top of their high school classes get full-rides or close to it; others get little and with tuition at almost $40,000 a year, few can afford it. To add insult to injury, people in the offices are rude—the attitude is pretty much if you can't afford to pay the money, then you shouldn't be here. Tom Kean is nice enough, but clueless. The friends I made at Drew seem to feel about the same way I do. Most have considered transferring—several have done it, including me. There's doesn't seem to be much school spirit. Unless you are a J.Crew type, don't go here.
