Sanford Brown College - Hazelwood

This school is like a very expensive community college. I dont know one person that graduated from here and got a job in there field. The career services is one of the most unhelpful group of idiots at the school. They look on monster to find you jobs. They have no relationships with any surrounding bussiness's and there attitude sucks. The only reason they are still open and operating is because of there medical program. The train nurse's and med tech , but you dont need to train here in order to get a job in this field. There is such a need for them that as soon as you graduate you can pretty much find a job. For the most part this school is not school to make a career out of I know some one that has two degrees for sanford brow and graduated at the top of her class twice and still has'nt gotten a job from sanford -brown. Not to mention only a couple of places will take all the credits from sanford brown. Out of those two they fall into two ctaegories one they a money hungry school that will accept anyone or theywill work you to death to make up for your shortcummings in you asociate program I choose the latter.

although I do love my current school and would give that experience up for the world I wouldhave loved to have had a better foundation to starting my bachelors program

I wish I would have thought more carefully about the community colleges in the area maybe they arent that bad , but the commerical got to me to. I recently seen one of there commercials for a bachelor in bussiness or it manage ment I went on line to look at he curriculum for it mangement and it is there A.A.S degree with a couple bussiness clasess thrown in same for there bussiness degree as for if it woth getting a bachelors degree there ,I wouldn't why would would I spend more money for a degree that I cant transfer anywhere I found out that the school is nationally accrediteded not regionally accredited like they lead you to believe.What this means is that there accreditation is just above the detc which is the accreditation of the schools that blast ads on late night television like pcdi for example. Actually more schools except credits from pcdi that Sanford brown college. Sanford -brown is the school you got after you gone to a good school and your employer wants you to get trained on something and offersto pay for it. But if want a a career in anything other that telemarketing choose another school make sure it is regionally accredited so that your credits will transfer. If you take my word for it ask around ask there graduates see what they have to say ask there career placement what there placement rate for there school in information technology. Ask to sit in one of there upper level classes before you enroll ask the students in the class what they think of the school and if they had a choice would they do it agian! walk around the school soak up the mentality of the students attending look to see if you see a focus lot of young professionals are a group of thuggish individuals that are loud and curse to much. You got to the school and attend classes for a week andI guareentee that you will not attend this school.
