Baylor was a good school. They began to seek more foreign admissions from India and the Orient in the late 80's. The things that attracted employers to the school was that the student pool was less diverse and more stable. Accounting companies such as Arthur Andersen wanted white upper middle class students for management candidates. That has changed. Took a Summer school class in statistics and was the only American in the class of 60-70.

The school is NOT worth the money and the athletics are not worth mentioning. I still owe for loans and cringe every time I have to pay them. What a waste of money and time.

Baylor's current problems stem from their change in recruiting ideals. Student athletes killing each other over drug deals. The crime ridden sewer that is Waco must have finally spilled over into the campus. The Baylor Bubble has popped.

During the time that I went to Baylor, my tuition went up 300%. It was once listed as a bargain for private schools, not any more. They were ranked as one of the worst in terms of financial aid.

When you are going down I-35, don't stop. Go on to UT, SMU, TCU or somewhere else.

Baylor is not worth it, and a regretful experience for most who go there.
