Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I don't understand why some people do not like it here. I'm in the Honors Program and I have not had any bad experiences with teachers. The teachers here are great! There are some groups of students that are a little snobby, but you will find that at any school you go to. Party scene: if you don't want it, you won't have it rubbed in your face. if you do want it, you can find it. Parties at the rugby house every friday (only $5), tons of bars and clubs if you have a fake. Also, you can drink in your room if your not stupid about it. I do really like it here; i have made many friends that will be life-long friends. The campus is gorgeous. There are shuttles that take you to the mall, movies, and grocery store if you do not have a car. freshmen can only have cars in special circumstances. The rooms are pretty nice too, especially compared to the other colleges I visited. One hint: if you can't turn your heater off, put the nob between low and medium and you'll hear when it shuts off. Tons of clubs, NCAA division I sports teams, and intramural sports. Fun events on campus - BINGO is my fave - lots of great prizes. There are also movies shown on campus and theres a DVD machine too. The laptops are pretty cool too - the internet is mad fast. Sometimes things go wrong with the computers but that is expected with any computer - there is a tech center for clearing up problems and getting replacement parts (free because we pay for the computers as part of our tuition). The one thing i do hate is the food - it really sucks. They know it sucks but they have a contract with the company that makes the food so they cant get out of it :( plus, they definitely put laxatives in the food, but i have friends who say they do that at their college too, so it's not just here.
