I feel that in the fashion department, the atmosphere seems quite different than other majors. My directors have been nothing but helpful and they all work for the common good of the students within our department. I'm a merchandising major, but the design director is just as willing to talk to me about my major and help as much as she can. The other faculty is amazing, and I have never had a problem, except in the LA dept. I think that that department really needs to be revamped and we need better faculty in those sections.

I'm really interested in the Fashion Journalism/Merchandising major at AAU but can only find negative responses to the school in general. Do you think it's worth the cost to go here? Do you like living in San Franciso? Do you have any advice for a potential incoming freshman like myself? If you could write me back, it would be mucho appreciated.
