Drew is divided between bright public students who receive generous financial aid packages and scholarships, and not-so-bright prep-school grads whose parents apparantly don't mind shelling out tuition that is only a few hundred dollars less than Princeton's.

The academics are solid, though not spectacular. The good news is that a very strong performance at Drew will open impressive graduate school doors for you. However, Drew is not a guarantee of admittance to medical school; only a very small percentage of pre-meds won medical school admission. The school has recently improved its physical facilities by adding a neat new rec-center/gym and a performing arts center that I really wish had existed when I attended.

Socially, Drew is built entirely around cliques; and if you are lacking in social skills for any reason, or fail to very quickly assimilate yourself in one of these cliques, you stand a good chance of being miserable at Drew for your entire tenure. That is the hard truth. You may never discover just why it was you were politely ostracized.
