A bit of advice; Hampshire offers an amazing education, allowing you to basically study what you want, with the intensity that you set for yourself. MOST of social scene, however, revolves around drugs. There are very few (while they do exist) people, who want to just hang out, party, and enterntain themselves without drug use. While I am very tolerant of most social scenes, this particular aspect has come to annoy me because the students are too close minded to "accept" anyone who does not do drugs. It is unfortunate that the social life is not as amazing as the academics; your only option will be the five colleges, which have some amaxing people. Bottom line; social drinker but not a druggy?…stay away!!!
