Date: Jul 16 2004 Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time) I was commissioned into the Military after graduation from BJU. I do know that my commission had to be approved at the Service Chief (JCS) Level because of where I went to school. A minority rep on the Commissioning Board objected to where I did my undergraduate training. He was overrulled by the Service Chief. I found this out several years after I was commissioned. I left active duty after 7 years to work in the Business World. Of course, you don't know what you don't know, but I know of no instances where my undergraduate education hindered my prospects. I do know however, one particular example where I was hired specifically because of where I went to school. I later saw the other resumes and, IMO, several were more qualified than me.I have applied to several graduate schools over the years and have never had a problem. That said, when you get into it at your average grad school-you are going to have a lot of idiots who have only a very negative picture of BJU or may simply be very liberal. Just be careful you don't let them gang up on you.
