Well Concord is one of five different schools that I attended in the last ten years. I can say without hesitation, it has been my most positive experience in higher education. This is a truly wonderful place to be. The only downside it that Athens is not much of a town really, it has the college and that's about it, or at least that's the way it was in 1992-93.However, if you're a person who enjoys the outdoors and beautiful scenery and greenery, this place is for you.. and Princeton, WV is about 20 minutes away, I highly recommend you have a car or a friend(s) who do.I've had some of my best classes ever there, you are definitely not a number there, it's a relatively small institution with an enrollment of about 2000. I will never forget my speech class at Concord with Mr. Brown, a truly gifted teacher.I loved Concord and I cherish all the memories and people I met there, I wish I had been more involved.
