Well…all I can say is, I never thought MS would be so much different from Bama, where I'm from. USM is alrite, I guess. The campus keeps people happy with life, for the most part; but, if you get off campus, get the hell outta Hattiesburg MS, too. It's not the size of the town that has such a negative impact, but the state of mind of the people that forget that without the USM community, Hattiesburg, let alone Forrest and Lamar Counties would be naked and would look vacant. Some of the people I run into are cool, but hell…if my folks want me to enjoy the whole college life, they better let me come home more often, cuz @ USM, if it ain't on campus, it just plain plum ain't there.
