I think UNLV is a crappy school(it is not worth the money if you're paying out of state tuition) and a lot of students kind of live in a make believe world. I guess I would also make believe if I had to attend this university for four years. The academic programs are mostly a joke. I had a teacher that would take half assed notes and then put them on a projector for students to copy. The surrounding city, Las Vegas is ugly,polluted, and smelly. Also there is the airport that is located less than a mile from the campus, so you're always hearing airplanes flying over. If you have to absolutely attend this university then so be it, but if you have opportunities to go somewhere else, then go.
