Concordia University has the potential to be a great university. It has the resources and some very good professors. The bad point about it is that there is too much student activism and protests(especially by the Muslim and eco groups) on campus and the administration doesn't seem to know how to handle these problems. As a student I was there to learn not hear yelling and such activism going on. Many times it went overboard. This is what is giving CU a bad name- all those activism and protests. Also many times there are protesters who are not even students of CU. Also, they seem to lack some programs (Lab sciences, Physics, Physiology, health ones) which is sad because there are only 2 english universities in montreal- CU and McGill. If you can't get in McGill then you're stuck(unless you know French ) because CU doesn't have the program.
