Major: Meteorology (This Major's Salary over time)
I am going to this school for meteorology yet they forced me into a flight class before I could take my first weather class. The only way to jump right into WX 201 (first weather class) was to have your private pilot lisence. Now I am not trying to fly here yet they force me to waste my money on something I will never need ever again in my entire life. Now that I am taking my first weather class everything is going a lot smoother. Watch out for that Pre-Algebra class they really try to screw you with. It might be a great idea to refresh your memory but it will keep you here for an extra year if you are certain majors. I tested out of that class to move up to, wah hooo, Trig and Algebra. Since I took those for so long in high school and had no problems with them. I dont have any issues in my Calc I class that I am nearly done with right now.The food sucks. nuff said there. I dont want to even get into it.I think the best thing is the internships that should be easier to get at such a small school like Riddle.O, live off campus if you drink too. Especially if you are in the flight program. Its not worth your money to stay on campus if you are an avid drinker because if you get caught, say goodbye to your chances for a decent job when you get out of here. Or at least thats what I have heard.
