Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
I have had a wonderful experience here at UMSL. My education has been top notch and I am being considered for assistantships by the top 2 communication PhD programs in the country. The school is mainly commuter currently, but is building new dorms and apartments and is starting to give buildings to the greek life here as well. The great thing about this school being commuter is that if you are intersted in getting involved, you will really stand out. The faculty take notice of students who work hard in and out of the classroom and are willing to work with you to help you meet your goals. And, I don't mind that the school has used some of my tuition money to build new buildings because it is helping the school to grow and become a more traditional campus with a vibrant student body and social calendar. If someone didn't get involved and enjoy their experience here, it's because they didn't try!!
