I'm indecisive when it comes to whether or not to leave this place. First of all, DO NOT LIVE ON CAMPUS; get your own place, I don't care how convenient you think it is. The Room/board is a ripoff and it's a joke how much money they make with the fining system that's faulty (my roommate got charged $100 for a guest not signing out, and we saw them and were with them when they swiped out) and is unfair to residents. Even if you live on campus and go to other dorms you have to abide by the stupid policy and fines essentially double. Ask for help with the mishaps and the department looks the other way; you're screwed and on your own. Also, the faculty in my major (PA) are condescending, and I feel discriminated against by one woman in particular because I'm not italian/white or because of my gender depending on the situation I'm in. I know this is a very diverse school, but trust me, some dept. heads will look down on you no matter what you think. The dean of Pharmacy is a nice guy though. People in my major are cut-throat, talk behind each others backs, cheat, lie, etc; it's a joke. I thought I could grow up at a school like this, but I feel like I got set a few years back. There are a few nice people but it gets depressing at some times. The only reason other people don't get down is because they have no clue what's going on around them. I just want to get away from 99% of these people by the time I'm out. People in other majors are NORMAL, they are approachable, friendly, and nice. So if you choose something else by all means go for it. Also remember the pharmacy program as much as they brag about it isn't even top 30 in the nation anymore. Just be wary of what you are paying. Also it's nice to be close to the city.
