Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
I have two undergraduate engineering degrees from UMR and a law degree from one of those "high society" private schools. UMR has, hands down, prepared me for the real world better than any other school I could have chosen. I've worked with lots of alums from schools all across the country and UMR grads seem to have better practical application-type skills that are necessary in engineering, law, you name it (I should note, however, that much of my education came from being a Fraternity member - joining a Fraternity is the best decision I ever made). I think the bottom line is this: If you have the courage to take on a challenge, go to UMR, join a Fraternity or Sorority, and then bust your can for the next few years. It pays off. Additionally, if you can't make the grades at UMR, you can always transfer to Mizzou. ha.
