Cal State East Bay is a good school. If your a person who is serious and motivated, you will succeed and do well. On the other hand, if your a type of person who likes to party and drink 24/7, this is not your school. Yes, Cal State East Bay is a "Commuter School", no doubt about it. But the good thing is that the University is located in the heart of the Bay Area in which there are many things to do. San Francisco is only 20 miles away, and San Jose is about the same. This is a good school, and you will get a great education at a low cost. But if your a party person and looking for a University with a campus life, "Don't Come Here" go to a UC.
