It is better if you are Catholic because most of the students tend to expect you to be and when you are not they are less likely to agree with you or even have a decent conversation with you about it. The theatre program is very accepting though if you wish for a safe haven. I tried to have outside the program friends but it didn't take long for them to get tired of my hours and opinions. The teachers are great… but the administration only cares about the images of the school you provide and the money you will bring later. I don't think the current or last president ever spoke to a theatre student that was not also a sport star or in trouble. I doubt he even saw the plays. But they didn't mind taking the money we raised in ticket sales.
