Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time)
I am speaking as an alumni who graduated some years ago and though I do keep up with what's going on to some extent, I cannot really speak to the current state of affairs. That being said, one of the remarkable things about Bard is that it attracts the same sort of independent-thinking student body now as it did when I was a student. To this day, students are more focused on 'obtaining the best liberal arts education' than on 'preparing for a career"—a rarity in today's result-oriented society. This is not to say that Bard graduates don't succeed in the world of work, they do.
