Western has it's pros and cons as does any other university, anywhere. When I first arrived I did not enjoy the experience because of my attitude, not because of the school's influence on my social life. However, I learned to like it here and now I am glad to be where I am. It's a good school if you like a medium-sized, semi-personal approach to teaching (you won't feel clostraphobic on account of the abundant student body nor will you feel lonely for lacking any human contact). If you are interested you should come for a visit, it's a great place to go to school.
