Bennington is truly what you make of it, especially regarding the academics. It is very important to understand what the school, and this form of alternative education, is all about before you come. It is also necessary to be pretty mature and independent to really have the best experience. The campus is beautiful and the housing is incredible! My experience is that the students are very friendly and supportive. I have found the professors to be very accessible and really willing to go the extra mile to be helpful to students. Because there are no grades professors really care about whether you learn the material, not just about how well you do on the test (there are no tests either!) I love it here and highly recommend Bennington for the right kind of student.
