First you should know that Westwood College Denver North, seems to have an issue paying their teachers. I've already lost one this first term because he didn't get paid.

Second if you have any professional skill and experience, or if you have clear cut plan for your educational needs and direction, this school will ignore this completely and shove you into classes you have not received proper preperation for.

For instance there are many students who are put into advanced classes without basic drawing, anatomy, or computer training, just to fill the class and get the school paid.

You can not choose your courses in the order you wish to take them.

The idiot program director chooses them for you based on the fact they only have maybe 15 classes running at any given term.

The current program director as of this date (06/08/06), a man by the name of Louis is a an admitted LIAR. I heard him admit it to another staff member.

He apparently has no qualifications for his position and absolutely no understanding of the programs he's supposed to be guiding.

Third, the library is a joke, if one person uses the internet, more than half of the rest of the library can't access it. The operating systems on the computers in the library are close to ten years out of date.

Which reminds me that they also lie about A) the games students are playing when you visit, they will tell you the students made Castle Wolfenstein and Unreal Tournament 2004. What crap. B) they keep their software and systems up to date, when they are running Photoshop and Illustrator from 1997!

C) they will LIE that you only have to be at school three days a week, when it is a solid five.

Avoid this school at all cost, warn your friends who are even thinking about attending school to stay away. Its a scam operation.

This "Technology" school does not provide an email address, a web space, and none of the computers in the school are networked where students can share materials. Last night I witnessed a class spend over an hour transfering their work from their workstations, to USB keychains, to the instructors computer computer, ie, sneaker-net like back in 1985. All while squinting at a low resolution projection screen because the CRT monitor didn't work.

Speaking of USB, their is not a single USB 2.0 enabled device in the school.

The average technology at this school is no less than five years old.

Most high school kids are getting a better education for free.

Thank you very much. I just received a telemarkety call from one of the schools handlers. I was actually about to cough up $50.00 from nowhere for the app fee. I was studying to be a Computer Network Engineer. After reading the reviews I think I have a better shot at Community College. Thank You Sooooooooo much!!
