People complain about Missouri Southern a lot and with good reason. The Universtiy throws lots of money into its impressive international programs, but those programs benefit an extremely small percentage of the student body.

There is no social/campus life or school spirit to speak of. Greek societies and social organizations are largely ignored by the students and the adminstration barely acknowledges their existence. A vast majority of students are commuters who live in the surrounding communities. None of them stay on campus after they finish their classes and the administration doesn't give them any reason too.

The education you get at Southern isn't so bad. It gets complained about because most people complain about everything at Southern. Love it or hate it at MSSU you get a decent education for a cheap price.
