Going to Spartan was definately a character building adventure. Going to school full time at Spartan, and then working a full time graveyard shift job for two and a half years, was difficult to say the least. I guess they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Well after graduating Spartan with my A&P,I attended Southern Illinois University. I really enjoyed SIU and graduated with a B.S. in Aviation Management. While at Southern I was selected to Be 1 of the first CO-OP Students between SIU and the FAA. It was an internship to learn how to be an Air Traffic Controller. I've Been at the Chicago Center Enroute Facility for over 21 years. I do believe that going to Spartan set me on my way.
Thank You,
Jody Leonard
