Many people have the misconception that Bennington is a good place for slackers. This is not the case at all, any slackers mistakenly admitted end up having to leave. The work here is very challenging and the professors expect alot from us. I went to a very strong, competitive high school and I was never challenged the way I have been here. I think that the small size, while sometimes a drag in terms of limited classes, has made it possible for me to do many things that I would not have access to at a larger school. I am involved in so many clubs and other extracurriculars and feel like I can make a real contribution to campus life.
