Major: Philosophy (This Major's Salary over time)
Incarnate Word's largest assett is most certainly the faculty. The professors are certainly not there for the prestige. They are they because they truly enjoy and want to teach. They want you to do well, and to succeed. Most of the professors will go above and beyond to help you because they are so dedicated. They are all extremely knowledgeable and scholarly, and they want to share that with you. If you want to learn more about something from class, or want to know about something they specialize in they are delighted to teach you. They are even happy to see you if you just stop by their office to say hi. As long as you wish to learn, they will do everything they can to teach you. Sometimes its easy to be lazy and do the bare minimum, but with many of the profs learning becomes so much fun and so interesting that you actually enjoy going to class. Like Dr. Greenberg in Comm Arts is so awesome you don't want class to end. The administration on the other hand seems pretty clueless. So sometimes you have to cut through a lot of red tape. The students are all very nice and friendly…easy to get along with. The worst thing I can think to say about the school is that the parking situation is terribke.
