Grove City College

My four years at Grove City were some of the best of my life, although the school is not for everyone. Grove City has high academic and personal expectations for its students. Although it is not nearly as strict as most Christian schools, rules against drinking and breaking intervisitation (times when you can visit dorms for students of the opposite sex) are strictly enforced. On the plus side, the school provides many weekend activities that do not involve alcohol, so it's easy to keep busy. I made some good friends at Grove City, many of whom did not share my faith. Even though the school teaches subjects from a Christian perspective and requires students to go to chapel, many non-Christian students are attracted to its quality academic programs, particularly in the areas of engineering and education. Even though I majored in an area that isn't considered one of GCC's strong points, I received a great education. I learned far more there than I did during my graduate studies at another school.
