Half way through an accelerated program, have had only one professor who didn't have as much time for feedback as some would have liked. Even if not in their nature to be overly friendly per se, professors are generally very generous with their time, availability and feedback.

Among students, there is some competition instead of collaboration and some closed mindedness instead of appreciation of differences; but, overall people want to be successful and don't expect someone else to pay the expense for it. Activities seem to be geared to the traditional student, and that's okay.

Baypath has a very nice campus, from the grounds to the facilities, equipment and furniture (and I agree, the food is good!). You can see where some of your dollars go. I didn't realize it is a dry campus until reading someone else's comment. You would have to venture a fair distance if you want to party. I think the fact that it is a dry campus says good things about the expectation for students. The environment for learning, development and personal growth is there if you take advantage of it. Why would you want to spend all that tuition $ and then party it away?

The college is located in an exclusive town that is not receptive to the college's growth so there is some tension there. The college could actually outgrow the town. You wouldn't have to worry about that for now. Plenty of activities nearby if you can drive. Boston is within 1.5 hours; NYC within @2.5. Skiing up north and closer. Beaches in driving distance. Shopping. Restaurants. Very close bus terminal to these locations if you don't want to drive. Nearby, Hartford offers plenty of insurance jobs.
