Date: Aug 27 2007 Major: Fine Arts - Painting/Sculpture/Photography/etc (This Major's Salary over time) Where to begin? Let's start at the begining with the interview, with Tony DeTore aka tony da tour guide. It was a complete waste of time I filled out the app. and spoke with Tony paid the fee and he said welcome to Antonelli. I asked him if he would like to see my portfolio his response was, "If ou would like me to look at it but it is not necessary." I should have ran far far away at that point. But I wanted to further my EDUCATION in Photography! HAHAHA!! First year was all stuff that everybody should have learned in High School before they attended. But what a surprise half had not even taken a Photography class before. The so called business classes were a joke we sat in class and colored, wrote stories and played whisper down the lane. Don't even get me started on the digital imaging teacher that reads to you straight from the book! Other than being in the darkroom to print 1st year sucked! 2nd year yippie I can't wait to do color printing!(When the processor is up and running which wasn't very often)! And don't send your film to get developed for free to Berry and Homer(they sponsor the school and developing of film is included in tuition) Always over processed with scratches. If the processor is up and running make sure ou send in the clear sheets first because black spots will get on your prints. What was great about Antonelli were a few of the teachers that helped you out when ou had a question, most would just give you an attitude like you should already know the answer to your question. My advice to those is think long and hard about attending. With all the monies spent at Antonelli I could have attended a 4 year school and partial Masters. Pretty Scary huh?! If you like working independently and can read alot of books (not the ones from the school store) you can learn alot. The best part was the friends that you will make. ~Melissa~
