Grove City College

The course I took in Electrical Engineering prepared me solidly for graduate studies. I live in New York and after my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering at Grove City, I went on immediately to enroll for my Master's Degree at SUNY in Stony Brook. I found the graduate courses offered at SUNY (especially the mathematical side ) to be a piece of cake. Nothing surprised me at all because of the solid background I acquired at Grove.

I am currently employed by an engineering company in Long Island developing aerospace systems for the defense industry. Grove City College prepared me well in the fundamentals and I will forever be grateful for the experience.

As for life on campus, what can I say ? Those giving negative reviews obviously never bothered to even read the college's brochure where it unapologetically presents its Christian worldview. The humanities courses, compared to a lot of flack courses being offered by other colleges, are a gem. They really drill the students in critical thinking, civics, and American History.

I am not surprised that a recent survey by the ISI rated Grove City students on top of others ( including Ivy League schools ) in terms of knowlege of civics, history and economics.

The former alumni who complained about employment obviously does not know that Grove City College is ranked among the top 20 by Princeton Review in terms of satisfaction from students because of their excellent career services.

I would return to Grove City College if I had to do it all over again.
