Major: Mechanical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
I've seen a lot of negative reviews here, mostly from people who did not finish. Yes, WPI's social atmosphere has a lot to be desired to other schools, but to be honest I think that helps its students. I went to Texas A&M for my masters degree and while the social aspect is much greater there, it also invites one to forget about their studies much more easily. I thought WPI was a great experience! Yes, it was very expensive, but I think I got a great education. I would not be an engineer today if I had not decided to go there. Definitely recommended.
