Major: Finance (This Major's Salary over time)
I transferred to FMU from a private college located in the northwestern part of SC. A key factor in my decision to transfer was Francis Marion's College of Business. At the time of my attendance, FMU was an AACSB accredited college, an honor that exceeded that of USC's undergraduate business program. I found my business professors, especially my Finance professors, to be both knowledgeable and professional. I was grateful for their availability outside of the classroom, an opportunity that I often took advantage of to secure my success within the program. The Dean of the School of Business was also involved on a personal level with the business students, and offered numerous opportunities for the growth and development of his students. The Finance curriculum was challenging, yet satisfactory to my desire for a well-rounded education. I was offered numerous internships with local banks and brokerage firms, one of which materialized into full-time employment upon my graduation from FMU.
