Why do you give a C for academic sucess?? So, all in all, are you saying that BU is not worth it? |
Major: Chemistry (This Major's Salary over time)
The students and faculty are very closeminded, as well as the administration. Independent thought is discouraged; professors and administrators do not appreciate it when you express your ideas if they differ from the norm. Propaganda may be too strong of a word, but this institution definitely likes to tell its students what to think and do, rather than teach students how to make sound judgement calls. The majority of the students are apathetic about any events outside of the "Baylor Bubble," such as elections, foreign affairs, etc. The factual education itself is good, but the intellectual part is lacking. Even the honors college (which I am in) is closeminded and uninterested in true education.
