Old Dominion University is definitely a joke. All the faculty are rude or have attitudes, especially dining faculty. All facilities are old and outdated. My high school had much nicer things than ODU, such as chemistry labs, machine shops etc. VCU is supposed to be there biggest rival and I know why now. I am transfering to VCU because of the environment and the top rated facilities there. If you ever here the nickname "Old Dirty University" take it literally. This shool has nothing going for it except a new football team in the future, but that'll never be as good as Tech or UVA. If you want a student's advice, don't even waste your money applying to ODU, unless it is your absolute last choice and hope to transfer out one day.
