I was a top high school student looking for a small campus that felt "big". Rankings and such were not a priority for me (really, can't we be more creative and thoughtful than that?)

SCU has been a dream. I've grown to love the Jesuit values (but I'm an agnostic) and my friends are all compassionate and caring. My professors are excellent. Excellent weather, pretty good food, amazing new facilitiesit doesnt get much better than this.

Town of Santa Clara is boring so I use mass trans to get out and up to SF.

If you just cant get beyond USNWR than this isnt the school for you. Take your insecurities elsewhere!

questionHello,
I find myself to be quite intelligent as well and as someone with intellectual curiosity I feel that I can value your opinion more than that of others. Right now, I'm choosing between attending Santa Clara University or Gonzaga University. At Santa Clara, I was given $20,000 of financial aid and I was given (adding scholarship) around $30,000 from Gonzaga. My question is, do you think that taking on an extra $10,000/year in loans is WORTH it?
As someone who wishes to attend Medical school in the future, I feel that keeping a firm budget is essential.
