I'm fortunate that I completed two years in one year and one semester. I don't like the students because the school has an open door policy which allows anybody to attend—regardless of his/her ability to do college level coursework. I had a 4.0 G.P.A. until this final semester when a teacher decided to drop my A to a D because I was caught in traffic and couldn't make the final class—I already uploaded my final project, but still received a zero! She didn't even want to discuss the situation. I guess being a teacher in a class where 80% of the students bolt before the withdrawl date speaks volumes of the teacher. I do plan on speaking to the head of the department that oversees both course & teacher. As for my last gripe, the school turned down every scholarship I applied for which is odd because I waltz through the honors program, yet I was turned down each and every time. Makes one wonder what the students that have no business being in college taking 033, 034 because they're not ready for college level courses (how they are in college is beyond belief)are doing to get scholarships—not talking financial aid. Reward the stupid!!
