Diamondopolous nearly ruined this school. I managed to get into Columbia for grad school to save my career. Fortunately, I hear good things about the new President - but Adelphi went from a fairly competitive ranking all the way down to non-competitive. It will take a lot of public relations to restore the alumn feelings for this place - a School President with $100,000 desks just turns me off when it comes to donations to the school. What was that Board thinking that they allowed him to abuse the institution like that? Thankfully a dedicated faculty really seemed to save something.
