Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
I joined FVSC as a non-traditional student. Therefore, I had a plan and FVSC allowed me to put it in motion.There were a number of faculty members who showed a geniune interest in everyday activities. I can honestly say with total conviction, I never encountered a faculty member willing to allow a student to slip through societal cracks. That being said, I appreciate the efforts shown toward my interests.While attending, the school transitioned into a university. I thought the change would be transparent. That was not the case. There seemed to be an urgency to fit into university mode. That was really tough on many students. Some made it. Some did not.The bottom line is FVSU provided a platform, but not quite a springboard. I was able to use available resources to achieve my goals. Was I seeking a springboard? NO. Did my FVSU education propel my career? NO. Is my FVSU education a valuable part of my life? ABSOLUTELY!FVSU was the right step toward sucess.
