Growing up I was always told that if you have a degree you will succeed in the real world. Living in the Columbus, Ohio area I did not want to attend OSU. I chose UT because it was alot smaller and felt less chaotic. Attending this university was the biggest mistake!

My degree was pre-physical therapy. I chose not to apply and attend MUO because of the difficulty of getting in. They rank every student by their gpa and pick the top 10. My advisor assured me that if I graduate with an exercise science degree, I can apply to graduate schools elsewhere. She also told me that with my degree I will be able to get a job (though she said

The money isn't there
)

The graduate schools I applied to told me that I would have to repeat at least 6 classes due to the fact that they were not the required credit hours (3 instead of 4) OR were sophomore based and not junior/senior based. Some of the classes I would have had to repeat were Anatomy, Physiology and neuroscience. To me those classes are extremely important in teh feild of PT. I did not have the money to repeat a years worth of classes.

It is now a year and a half later adn I am still trying to find a real job. This BS in Exercise Science is a bogus degree and does not mean anything in teh 'working world'. People with an associates degree are more qualified for these jobs than my 4 year degree. I am as qualified as someone who just graduated high school. I spent thousands of dollars on something that does not mean anything.

If I can sue the university to get my money back in exchange of this meaningless piece of paper they call a degree I would. I would be more than happy to start over

I should have just gone to OSU
